Eligibility for Union Bank of India LBO Recruitment 2025-26
Applicants may apply for only one of the states as per the identified vacancies in this Union Bank of India notification for the post of Local Bank Officer.
Nationality/Citizenship
An applicant must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle permanently in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam intending to settle permanently in India.
Candidates belonging to categories (ii) to (v) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit and Educational Qualification
- Post: Local Bank Officer (LBO) – JMGS-I
- Age Limit Requirement: Minimum age requirement for he post of Local Bank Officer in Union Bank of India is 20 years and the Maximum Age Limit is 30 years.
